The Ballisodare River is a freestone river in County Sligo, Ireland. Inland Fisheries Ireland lists it as a main salmon fishery (Mayo and Sligo). Inland Fisheries Ireland's 2026 Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme lists it as an open salmon fishery with optional harvest surplus. It is at Ballisodare, Co. Sligo; the tagging-scheme table spells it “Ballysadare” (Sligo District). Also called Ballysadare River.
