The Verified badge
About this
Verified means more than claimed: we check your state guide or outfitter licence and your insurance, and your listing shows a Verified badge with the date we checked. It comes with Pro. It is free, without Pro, for businesses owned by a veteran, a service member or a military family, once that ownership is confirmed (how we confirm it). The badge comes off when the licence or insurance expires, and it never changes ranking.

Booking fees
About this
Legendary’s booking fee is 3% of the total trip price, plus Stripe’s actual card processing fee passed through at cost. Both come out of the deposit the angler pays online; the balance is paid to you directly on the day. No fee on walk-in or off-platform sales, and every quote, confirmation, receipt and payout shows the fee lines.
Card processing is Stripe's actual fee on the amount paid online, passed through at cost with nothing added; international cards and currency conversion cost more. The fee comes from the deposit the angler pays online: the angler pays the price you set, with nothing added on top. Every quote, confirmation, receipt and payout statement shows the lines.

Questions
Is listing my business free?
Yes. Being listed, claiming your listing, editing it, adding your logo, photos and trips, answering requests and messages, and taking online bookings are free, for good.
What does Pro add?
The back office: a calendar with availability blocks, your customer list with notes and tags (including phone and walk-in bookings you record yourself), team accounts for your guides and staff, reports, CSV exports, and the Verified badge once we have checked your licence and insurance.
How does the free trial work?
Start Pro from Plan and billing in your business workspace. Stripe asks for a card, and nothing is charged for 15 days. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. One free trial per business.
Can I switch between monthly and annual, or cancel?
Yes, any time, from Stripe's billing page linked in your workspace. If you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your business moves to Free. Nothing you made is deleted, and it all comes back if you start Pro again.
Does paying change where my listing ranks?
No. Plans and ads never move a listing up or down in search or the directories. Paid placements are always labelled Sponsored and look different from organic results.
Who gets the Verified badge free?
Businesses owned by a veteran, a service member or a military family, once the ownership is confirmed by the business's own website, the SBA VetCert register or an operator-approved claim. We still check the licence and insurance, and we never ask for a DD-214.
Is there a fee on the balance paid on the day?
No. The booking fee is 3% of the total trip price, taken once, out of the deposit the angler pays online. The balance is paid to you directly, with no fee from us.
Is there a fee on walk-ins or bookings I take myself?
No. There is no fee on walk-in, point-of-sale or off-platform sales, or on bookings you record yourself and are paid for directly.
