The Mulkear River is a freestone river in Counties Limerick and Tipperary, Ireland. Inland Fisheries Ireland lists it as a salmon fishery (Shannon region). Inland Fisheries Ireland's 2026 Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme lists it as a salmon fishery open to catch and release only. It is an ESB fishery at Annacotty, Co. Limerick. IFI spells it both “Mulcair” and “Mulkear”; the tagging-scheme table uses “Mulkear”. Also called Mulcair River.
