The River Corrib is a freestone river in County Galway, Ireland. Inland Fisheries Ireland lists it as a main salmon fishery (West). Inland Fisheries Ireland's 2026 Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme lists it as an open salmon fishery with optional harvest surplus. Inland Fisheries Ireland calls it “A world-renowned fishery with prolific runs of salmon” in Galway City, and the Weir beat “one of the most prolific salmon fisheries anywhere”. The tagging-scheme table lists it as “Corrib” (Galway District). Also called Galway Fishery and Galway Weir.
