Our translation: Fishing for anadromous salmonids with rod and hand line is open in the areas, for the species, at the times, with the quota limits and on the other conditions set out in annex I to this regulation. When fishing for salmon, sea trout or sea char is open, fishing for pink salmon and rainbow trout is also open. Fishing for anadromous salmonids is not open in river systems covered by annex II. Nor is fishing open in any other river systems with anadromous salmonids.

Set for Norway as a whole, not this water by name. Norway has no national default season: each river's dates are set one by one in the regulation's annex, and rivers not listed there are closed. The page states no clear months, so none are shown.

Exceptions on the page:

Our translation: It is forbidden to fish for kelts (spawned-out fish) of salmon, sea trout and sea char. Kelts caught must be released carefully.
Our translation: The regulation does not apply to fishing in the Tana river system, the Neidenelva, Grense Jakobselv, the Pasvikelva and the Enningdalselva.

About this

Nothing on this page grants or implies access: check the agency map, posted signs and landowner permission before you fish. Most waters here need a rod licence or permit and often a beat booking or club ticket; the listing pages under Regulations say which.

Fish these in the US

About this

Matched on the fish the agencies list for both waters first, then the same water type, an official designation or flagship listing on both, and a similar mapped size where USGS hydrography covers both.

At most two waters per country. A shared fish is a listing, not a promise: presence varies by reach and season.
