Lough Currane is a lake in County Kerry, Ireland. Inland Fisheries Ireland lists it as a salmon centre of excellence and sea trout centre of excellence (South West). Inland Fisheries Ireland's 2026 Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme lists it as an open salmon fishery with optional harvest surplus. It is at Waterville, Co. Kerry. Inland Fisheries Ireland says “Sea trout to over 10 lb recorded annually from this famous lake”; all sea trout fishing in the Waterville area is catch and release. Its Irish name, Loch Luíoch, is from logainm.ie. Also called Waterville Lake and Waterville/Cummeragh/Currane.
