The Río Trancura is a freestone river in La Araucanía, Chile. Chile's Dirección General de Aguas (DGA) runs a telemetered gauge on it, station Rio Trancura en Curarrehue. This page covers the upper Trancura from Curarrehue to Lago Villarrica; some maps call it the Pucón river. Also called Río Pucón.
Nothing on this page grants or implies access: check the agency map, posted signs and landowner permission before you fish. Most waters here need a rod licence or permit and often a beat booking or club ticket; the listing pages under Regulations say which.

Our translation: From 15 September 2026 the early recreational season for Chinook begins in water bodies and watercourses of the Toltén and Imperial river basins, running to 31 March 2027.
Listed as: Chinook.
Listed by the agency for the Toltén and Imperial basins
Matched on the fish the agencies list for both waters first, then the same water type, an official designation or flagship listing on both, and a similar mapped size where USGS hydrography covers both.
At most two waters per country. A shared fish is a listing, not a promise: presence varies by reach and season.
