More about the Grand River

The Grand River is a tailwater river in Ontario, Canada. Ontario's Ministry of Natural Resources names it among the waterbody exceptions for Fisheries Management Zone 16 in its Fishing Regulations Summary. The exceptions cover the Fergus, Nichol, Pilkington and Woolwich reaches (artificial lures, single barbless hook, trout catch-and-release) and Paris to Lake Erie. The tailwater classification is ours and refers to the Belwood (Shand Dam) reach.

About this

Matched on the fish the agencies list for both waters first, then the same water type, an official designation or flagship listing on both, and a similar mapped size where USGS hydrography covers both.

At most two waters per country. A shared fish is a listing, not a promise: presence varies by reach and season.
