The Rio Negro is a freestone river in Amazonas, Brazil. Brazil's Agência Nacional de Águas e Saneamento Básico (ANA) runs a telemetry station on it at Barcelos. This page covers the middle Rio Negro around Barcelos and the Mariuá archipelago, between Santa Isabel do Rio Negro and Novo Airão. Also called Rio Negro Barcelos.
