COOPER R AT MOBAY NR N CHARLESTON, SC

Rising over 24 hours: gauge height up 0.91 ft. Rising or falling means a change of more than 10% in discharge (or 0.2 ft of gauge height) over 24 hours; our rule of thumb, not a USGS class.

• Not over South Carolina DNR's 70°F line. Water 68.5°F now; the highest in the last 24 hours was 68.7°F. South Carolina DNR gives 52 to 62°F as optimum (“when water temperatures are optimum (52-62° F), trout fishing can be productive throughout the day”) and 70°F as the line above which water stresses trout.
