Follow Huerfano River.

One email when the flow at the gauge you pick crosses what you choose. We check the public USGS reading every 2 hours and email at most once every 6 hours, several waters in one message. Flow alone is not a fishing forecast or a safety call.

USGS gauge: HUERFANO RIVER NEAR BOONE, CO. (USGS 07116500)

When should we email you?

The flow fields are used only with “a flow I set”.

How it works

The first reading after you follow is the starting point, so nothing is sent for it. After that we email only when a reading crosses what you chose, not every time we look; if several waters change, they come in one email. Every email names the gauge, the reading and its time, links the USGS gauge page, and has one-click links to stop alerts for this water or all flow alerts.

USGS marks recent readings provisional; they can be revised. A gauge that stops reporting sends nothing until it reports again.
